Charleston Wedding Photography

The shoot was double fun for me.  First of all Jen is my new photographer friend here in SC - so it was fun to hang out with her and her family for a little session.  Also, her and her husband Pearsall happen to own my all time dream car.  The Jeep Wagoneer.  The second I saw that they had one, I knew that I had to get them out for a family session in it.  I even got to go for a little ride with them... made my night!

Brittany and Ed came into town from Memphis.   They will be getting married here in Charleston this Spring, and I can't wait to see their wedding come togther!  I also have to mention that they own a restaurant in Memphis, TN - that I am now dying to try out.  So if you are ever in the area, make sure to go see them at South of Beale (SOB).  The have a dessert called Jack and Coke that is seriously calling my name.  Congrats Brittany and Ed!

Plan A didn't quite work out for my shoot with Kari and Charlie tonight... but I have to say that Plan B turned out pretty great!  These two are so easy going and just plain nice to be around that it didn't matter at all that our first location didn't work out.  I am so excited for the big day, it's going to be a good one! 

I shot Laurie and Craig's beautiful Chicago wedding this fall.  How cool that they happened to be coming out to Charleston?!  We were able to schedule this fun little Newlywed Session on the beach.   Here's to many many years of happiness for Laurie and Craig!

These are just a few of my favorite shots from our trip.  We had a blast with family, and have been lucky enough to have started a little tradition of spending Thanksgiving in NY with them.  We walked and walked, saw the sights and a Broadway show, shopped on Black Friday, drank some Sake, and ate lots of cupcakes!  Many of the photos are of Ava, my beautiful 12 year old cousin - in - law who is now all of a sudden as tall as me (and I am pretty tall!).  Thanks Paul, Debbie, and Ava for the amazing trip!
