Charleston Wedding Photography

Wow - Marie and Ryan's Hilton Head Island wedding blew me away!  They are two of the sweetest and most fun people out there.  I think it really shows in the photos.  There are so many great shots of them laughing together... love that!  I could go on and on - from the different shades of purple in the bridesmaid's dresses to the thistle in the flowers - it was a spectacular day.  The best part, it didn't end on the wedding day!  We did a newlywed session in Savannah the next day.  Watch for that to go up later.

I knew from our first phone conversation that Kelly and I were going to get along great.  I absolutely loved her philosophy for her wedding day - simple, small, and all about the family.  It ended up going just like that.  I have a special place in my heart for small, intimate weddings and this one was perfect.

I loved everything about Kari and Charlie's wedding.  It was held at Kari's childhood home, the backyard was incredible with a pond and pool.  Kari took care of all the details from the t-shirt favors to the lanterns floating around the tent.  It was so perfectly simple, and I was so honored to be a part of it!

I really have the best job ever!  I love that going to work means meeting fun new people and strolling around in Charleston with my camera.  Amy and Bryan came in from Baltimore for their engagement session.  They met on the street during a blizzard!  Sounds like somethingn right out of movie, huh?  They are so adorable and laid back, and I'll be counting down the days until their wedding next Spring!

We are so thrilled to finally tell the world about our baby on the way!  We are due this September and could not be happier.  I thought I would share some photos of our nursery.  It's pretty bare for the time being with just a crib and a handful of gender neutral onesies and toys... until we can find out for sure in May :)  I'll make sure to post the progress as we go along - I have some fun ideas for the room and can't wait to see it all come together!

Brittany and Ed brought their friends and family in from Memphis, TN to celebrate their big day.  It was a night full of fun and dancing - a few of their guests even joined the band on stage for some songs!
