Just some winter fun! I bought that black and white lollipop in NYC over Thanksgiving and selfishly kept it for my own self portrait. I am a sucker for black and white anything.

I was thrilled when Abby came to me with the idea to do a model session in Evolution a salon in Minneapolis. Her close friend is the owner and was so generous to give us the run of the space while closed last Sunday. First of all Abby is absolutely gorgeous... but add in a space like Evolution, perfect hair and makeup by Amber of LoveLee Looks, plus a couple good friends for styling help Thao of Parc Boutique, Wing of Canary + Grey, and Quyen... you have all that's needed for an amazing photo shoot! Here are just a few from the session.
Before going full time with Paige Winn Photo, I shot weddings for another photography company in the area. I am excited that 3 of my weddings have been picked up as features! 2 in upcoming print magazines, and one is up on MNBride.com Real Weddings now. The couple featured are Catherine and John, and they were the sweetest couple with the most amazing families - so I was so excited that they were one of the features! I'll post later about the print features to come this winter!
There is hands down no other photographer in the world whose work inspires me more than Rodney Smith. I have been procrastinating in front of my computer today digging through the archives on his website - by the way, how awesome that he makes them available! Since we are getting in the Christmas spirit at our house this week, I thought I would share a couple of Rodney Smith holiday-esque images.
It makes me want to go shoot! Good thing I have a very exciting session scheduled this weekend, perfect for some Rodney Smith inspiration!
