Sarah and I were photo majors together at U of I (Illinois for my Southern friends!). She has gone on to earn multiple degrees and her love of Art Education has now brought her to a doctorate program in St. Louis. She asked me years ago if I would travel there for her wedding day. Of course, I agreed and it was such a treat to see my friend from so many years ago! She hasn't changed a bit, but for the extra degrees and being so close to having the title "Dr." in her new name! Her and Kevin welcomed me to their city with open arms and showed me around in style for some amazing photos.

She's officially 9 months on Sunday... she's close to walking (what, how?!) and as you can see in the photos I'm proud to say that she loves a good book :)

So the big secret was revealed and I am crazy excited to have one of my photos make it onto the cover of Charleston Weddings Magazine! What I haven't mentioned yet is that I also have 2 weddings on the inside. Now that the magazine is officially on newsstands, I can show you!

Cagney & Zack Stein are the first couple. Sarah and Chris Murdoch's wedding is featured in the second article. Sarah owns 428main.com and I have mentioned her and her awesome talent often

Both weddings were planned by the incredible Lizz Akerman of SouthernProtocol.com who I adore working with - watch for the stunning Southern Protocol ad in the magazine designed by Sarah Reed of DodelineDesign.com I'm also thrilled to have my images used there (it's seriously beautiful!) So pretty much the dream team was involved with both weddings, and I'm just happy they invited me to sit with them at the lunch table :)
